Least Favorite Child Take 2

I started this blog about three years ago inspired by my Mother’s passion for rating who her favorite child was on any given day.  I’m not sure if that was a healthy thing to but she had four kids and none have done any time in prison.  That’s me below.  I’m the one in the blue shirt.

I’ve worked as a writer and producer in Los Angeles for about fifteen years.  Currently I’m part of the writing staff and the host producer for a daily Facebook Game show called Confetti.  If you like trivia and money check it out!  Yeah, that was a shameless plug.

I stopped blogging about my twin boys for a little more than a year when my wife and I discovered that, Arthur, one of the boys, is autistic.  Now, my break is over and I’m ready to treat Arthur as an equal to his brother Charles.  Arthur has more obstacles to overcome than his brother, but that doesn’t mean he’s free from being judged the same way Charles is.

  5. Seriously love your blog. So much so that I wrote this twice because for some reason the first one didn’t post. Thanks for stopping mine as well! I look forward to reading more of your adventures with your possibly gay son(s). I too am an “older” first time mom so I feel your pain. Thanks for reminding me it’s okay to be irreverently funny. 🙂

  6. I refuse to believe you’re “older” unless you reveal your actual age. We’re in Los Angeles, what harm could it do?

  12. We all need more humor in our lives, and you have just provided a wonderful dose of it! Having shepherded three children into their twenties (well, one just shy at 19), I wish you had been around way back when – I might have laughed more and pulled my hair out less 🙂 But now I can just laugh … and laugh … and laugh! I’m a happy new follower!

  13. Good grief! Just read one post as a sampler and it had cranky flying infants, miniature parachutes and double-chin-judging babies! How can I not follow?!

  16. Seriously after the days I have had lately, I started ranking my three children to my husband as a joke. This is awesome and I can’t wait to see what you have to say next. Thanks for the laughs.

  20. I came across your blog yesterday, and have spent two evenings doing nothing but reading your posts! It’s totally your fault that I’ve ignored other household tasks. I’m really enjoying your dark and vaguely inappropriate sense of humor 🙂

I had three kids under the age of 4 years. I thought it was hard work but I imagine that’s nothing in comparison to twins!
Hats off to you Stephen 😊

  30. Where are you? I miss your stories…it’s a strange world; that of a blogger. People often do see these as “stories” which isn’t how I meant it at all. But, they do…readers can forget that the writer is engrossed in the goingson of their life… …having said that, I wish you a speedy and peaceful return to this world where your readers live to visit.

3steps, thanks so much for your lovely words. Work has been incredibly busy the past few months but I can see some light at the end of the tunnel that will allow me to start ranking the boys again. Don’t worry. I’ve kept records!!
